Introducing the Senior Management team and staff at Chwarae Teg

Katy, a chartered accountant and Masters Graduate of Leeds and Reading Universities, joined Chwarae Teg as interim Chief Executive in April 2008. Winner of the Welsh Woman of the Year Management Achievement Award in 2000 Katy spent more than 20 years with international accountancy and business advisory firm KPMG.
During her seven years as a director with KPMG Katy successfully pioneered flexible working in a senior role. An experienced leader and manager, Katy is committed to people development and motivation and had a key role in KPMG, Cardiff achieving IiP status. Katy is experienced in project management and in running a profit centre; she is an experienced grants advisor and spent time promoting investment in Wales as part of KPMG’s Inward Investment team.
Formerly a member of Chwarae Teg’s Board of Trustees, Katy is committed to using her interim appointment to consolidate Chwarae Teg’s success in promoting the role of women in the Welsh economy during this exciting time in the organisation’s development.
The Board will take steps to appoint a permanent Chief Executive for Chwarae Teg during the latter part of 2008.
Trish Chalk, Commercial Director
Trish is former graduate and post graduate of The University of Wales Institute Cardiff. Trish joined the organisation, in September 2007, from Snowsport England a not for profit National Governing Body based in Birmingham where she held the post of Chief Executive for the past 3 years.
During her time at Snowsport England, Trish was responsible for a number of funded programmes, alongside reviewing and developing the operational functions of the organisation, products and services to ensure sustainability and growth.
Trish has responsibility for identifying a wide range of business opportunities and will also for maximising Chwarae Teg's strengths to develop commercial capacity
Ann Elliot, Resource Managerann.elliot@chwaraeteg.com
Ann joined Chwarae Teg in 2003. A Humanities graduate and Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (MCIPD) Ann has 20 years of Human Resource and Training experience working for the Employment Service, a youth training scheme and 15 years with AA Insurance Services.
Ann has responsibility for Chwarae Teg’s HR, ICT and office services.

Hayley joined Chwarae Teg in January 2001. She has 15 years experience of working in the voluntary sector with organisations such as Save the Children Fund, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association and Volunteer Reading Help.
Hayley’s work at Chwarae Teg focuses on Employment and she manages the Work Life Balance initiative within the organisation as well as having a business development role.

Judy has been employed with Chwarae Teg since 1999 during which time she has undertaken the roles of Finance Officer and more recently Finance Manager. Judy is a qualified accountant (ACCA) and has also had 2 years training in IT technology.

Beverley ran her own business development and training consultancy for many years before joining Chwarae Teg in 2001. During her time with Chwarae Teg, she has worked on a range of projects including enterprise, education and skills and European initiatives.
